Key Account Project Manager

‍Here's what you'll be doing

As a Key Account Project Manager , you ’ll work alongside inventive and independent-minded engineers who are curious about what can be improved and have the courage to make it happen. You’ll serve as the bridge between the client and the technical teams at QING and lead projects from start to finish.  

You’ll focus primarily on projects with our key accounts and remain involved throughout multiple projects. This allows you to gain a deeper understanding of the client’s organization, production processes, and technical environment. You’ll stay abreast of current developments and ensure that client expectations align with technical capabilities. Through this involvement, you’ll identify opportunities for follow-up projects. You’ll help build a strong, long-term partnership.

These are your main responsibilities:

• Managing technical projects from kick-off through to successful delivery;
• Monitor the scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and make timely adjustments in the event of deviations or risks;
• Coordinate the required capacity, scheduling, and expertise with the technical teams;
• Report on project progress and ensure clear agreements with clients, internal teams, and external partners;
• As the designated point of contact, monitor the coherence and priorities among projects and look ahead to upcoming work;
• Actively manage and further develop the account by gaining a thorough understanding of the client organization and its challenges, identifying opportunities for new projects, and building a sustainable client relationship;
• Hand over completed projects to the service team and organize evaluations to incorporate improvements into future projects.

• A salary between €4,500 and €5,750 gross per month based on full-time employment, which increases as you grow in your role

This is what you bring

You maintain a clear overview, take responsibility, and easily navigate between client and technical matters. You don’t have to come up with the technical solution yourself, but you understand enough about technology to ask the right questions. You bring together different interests, facilitate open discussions about expectations, and aren’t afraid to make adjustments when necessary.  

• You have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thinking, preferably with a technical background
• You have at least 3 years of experience in project management in a similar industry or organization
• You have an interest in high-tech, mechanical engineering, and/or industrial automation
• You have experience monitoring schedules, scope, budget, capacity, and risks
• You have strong communication skills and are adept at liaising between clients, technical teams, and external partners
• You have a good command of Dutch and English
