During my master's, my interest in digital technologies grew. At QING, I was given the opportunity to delve further into this. It was important for me to test my theoretical knowledge in practice, and this is possible at QING. As a student here, you get the opportunity to use your skills and really contribute something. Apply in practice

‍AtQING, you gain knowledge by just doing it, and that helped me tremendously, something that is also evident in my graduate research. I was concerned with predicting the growth curve of a crop using AI. For this, I built a test setup in which cress could grow and be monitored under controlled conditions. By using cress, I was able to collect a lot of data in a relatively short time, which allowed me to train a working AI model.

My work as a technical specialist

‍Ihave been working here as a technical specialist for over two years now, and my work is very diverse. I am often involved in a project from beginning to end. In the beginning, I help draw up specification documents and create simulations to test specifications. Then I am involved in writing the application, and finally, together with my colleagues, I make sure that the machine is implemented correctly at the customer's site.
